Tiburon, Haiti Relief Shelter Project

SITE ANALYSIS

CONCEPT STATEMENT

I am developing a shelter that will utilize the sun to provide natural lighting while also keeping a controlled climate by avoiding direct exposure to the sun.

The wind on the site will be stopped by three major walls, then directed into the structure to act as natural cooling, providing airflow throughout the entire structure.

I will also focus on creating various spaces, each with different functions, to inspire community and hospitality.

This design fulfills the human need for shelter by incorporating a bathroom and four unique spaces, one for privacy and the others for hospitality.
